Rip The Jacker started off as a concept album but then proved to be one of the most lyrical hiphop albums of all time. Some of the lyrics and track names on the album sounded like they came from the bible. In the song Genabis the rap artist explains how "...in the begining I discoverd wordplay..." which could be related to Genesis. I took the notion that these lyrics ment that this is where it all started. Therefore the entire CD design has old style or ancient looking paper and the lyrics are etched in script. |
